A happy Easter Saturday to 31 human players this week so far. 11 loyalists are plumping for the Wolves win against Frank "Poached Egg" Lampard's Chelsea! Part Deux, with 5 draws and 15 for the visitors. SuperGran's win last week has gone to her head, and she's the only punter giving Southampton a chance against City in a 1-1 draw. Similarly, Don Corleone is the sole supporter of Sean "Hard-Boiled" Dyche's Everton against Man Utd in the early kick-off, and Steve "irrEggular" Cooper's Forest to win versus Villa, though Geowolf and Nige100 are also up for the draw. 15 players have gone for the draw between Brentford and Newcastle, 12 of those 1-1, 13 for the draw between Fulham and West "Green Eggs And" Ham, and 12 for the draws between Leicester and Bournemouth, and Spurs and Brighton - it's one of those tight match rounds where points are going to be thoroughly scrambled. The Liverpool-Arsenal game will be intriguing, with only myself, Oh When The Wolves, Nige100 and Ewok Vs Wolf thinking the home side can get one over on the leaders, and seven more players banking on the draw. Only SuperGran, Ewok and SuziQ think that Roy "Eggstinct" Hodgson's Palace can continue their resurrection away to Leeds.

Otherwise, it seems that some punters have been at the rum-soaked chocolate a bit early, as Iamthenewno2 and Frank Lincoln predict identical 7-1 wins for Valencia (screams betting scam to me), Ewok has Man City to hit 8 (eight) with an asterisk (Leominster Wolf only went 6-0, he chickened out) and Geowolf is hoping for a 7-4 win for Wolves, and yes, that's a scoreline, not betting odds. And we have three relegation dogfight matches from foreign leagues this round (you know how much I love those), so boot up your vidiprinters and livescore apps and rejoice and regret in equal measure as obscure players lovingly engender or callously demolish your prediction dreams without a care.

In a rowdy and colourful Easter weekend, players went hunting for correct scores like squealing sugar-soaked children scouring the tall grasses for chocolate eggs, and when the game was done and everyone was bloated and being sick in their own hair it was the mighty Baboon who emerged the queasiest. With 40 points, the hairy one collects his second weekly award of the season, although it must be said he was hanging on to the highest branch by his primatey paws come Sunday evening - he started off with an unprecedented THIRTY points from the first four games on the list, four correct scores in a row including the first two doubled, only to then meander for the rest of the way. It was, however, enough to see him home.

Jrpb-3 was desperately unlucky to finish in second, with 39 points including a week's highest five correct scores, it's just that none of them had an asterisk attached. The highlight was the 2-2 draw between Arsenal and Liverpool, but it just wasn't enough to dislodge Baboon. ChignalWolf was a credible third with 38 points and two correct scores, both doubled, and he was just one goal away in the Man Utd game from hitting the easterisk hat trick. Blast Tyrant reached 35 points with four correct, one doubled, whilst last week's joint winner Wolf In Wednesbury and Contrarian also both notched four correct to finish on 33, along with Bigcheese who hit two ten-pointers and who, like Chignal, was denied the hat trick by a single goal, this time in the Newcastle game.

Mentions of the week are plentiful, as Wednesbury, Bigcheese and Suzi Q showed loyalty with an asterisk on Wolves' 1-0 victory, Purplepault69 and Wolf In Essex nailed Man City's 4-1, and Baboon was the only player to go for a Cremonese win - even if the score wasn't correct, those precious two points won him the week.

Spoonwatch - reappointed Frank Lampard and got elbowed in the handle by Mrs Spoon. The big baby.

A return to form for the behemoth that is Blast Tyrant carves away ten points from Wonder Boyo's lead, which is now back down to six. Not much movement otherwise, although Evthewolf, SmokeyGB and Wolf In Wednesbury all closed the gap on the leaders, and 3rd through to 8th is now separated by just eleven points. This round's big shaker is Jrpb-3 who storms back into the top ten.
