We really need a Los Angeles Wolves banner as part of the display in the South Bank.

It is such a unique achievement that I don’t think will ever be repeated. Won the league on 2 different continents.

Besiktas, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce will have all won the league on two continents.

I'd forgotten about this, as I stopped paying attention to it once we were knocked out.

Just seen it was won by the only fully amateur club in the competition, Newtown Pride FC, from Sandy Hook, Connecticut.

Since the Sandy Hook shootings in 2012, they have dedicated all their games to the victims and raised a lot of money for local charities to support the families of the victims, so no doubt some of the $1m prize will be helping families who have been through the unthinkable.
