Typical week.

What would be a first team squad player’s week look like?
Daily starting times, training, nights in their home, getting to Compton/Mol (do they all drive ) etc.
Might be better than talking about The two V’s tonight.

I’ll have a stab at;

Wednesdays off (probably Tuesdays now we are in Europa)

Non game days, arrive for 8:45-9 for strapping with a 9:45-10 start. Back inside for 12-12:30 for lunch and then the afternoon off.

Weeknight game days, light session in the AM, off to a Hotel for the day - team meeting mid-afternoon, food, 30 minute walk and off to the game.

Day after game - 9:45 start, recovery session for no more than an hour, review of the game, lunch and home.

I am not sure if they stay away the night before a home game now?

Away weekend games (day prior to game) - 9am start, training, lunch, coach/train, hotel, game, coach/train, home, sleep.

The odd bit of press and publicity in the afternoons and evenings, usually via a rota.

So 3 days on the training pitch for about 2.5 hours.

They will be on the training pitch every day bar the day off, they will just be recovery days post game days.

So if we play Thurs and Sunday, they will train Monday & Wednesday, have a light session Thursday, recovery Friday and train Saturday and recovery Sunday.

Only basing this on what I know other clubs do, we may be different.
