Just a thought, is there much demand for the transfer deadline In China? If it's as popular over there as it has been here then maybe Fosun want to capitalise on that with a breaking last minute deal that's already finalised. Thus bringing wolves and the Chinese ownership into the living rooms of their nation.
They really do seem to like a show/performance.

I dont know about China, now i know; Spain keeps it open for another day, closes at midnight on Friday, September 1, Portugal, meanwhile, delay things for another three weeks, closing theirs on September 22.The window is already shut in Brazil, China, Norway, Sweden, Japan, USA and Canada. England, France, Scotland, and Italy all close at the same time later this evening, at 11pm BST.
