There's probably a 5% chance we get anything from Man City or Liverpool given the circumstances of the game, not to mention the class of the opposition.

So to get 7th we're going to have to beat Norwich and hope West Ham lose their next 3 - Norwich (A), Man City (H), Brighton (A)

Whilst also being aware that Brighton don't win at Leeds next weekend.

The most irritating thing of all is that it's actually quite plausible but won't happen, will it.

Knowing our luck, West Ham would lose their last 3. We’d beat Norwich…

…and miss out to Brighton on goal difference…

Goal difference makes it all far trickier for us. A draw for West Ham tomorrow or on the final day would put it in our hands were ours superior.

Brighton 3 points behind us with only two to play. That match against Norwich so important for us, now as unlikely to get anything against Man City or Liverpool and our GD advantage over Brighton likely to take a battering. Other clubs could overtake us as well.
You seem repeatedly very certain we will not finish 8th!!!!

Max points Brighton can get is 53 with a significantly worse GD than us at this stage in the season and a game more played. Barring getting trounced in all three remaining fixtures (very possible for two of them) then 8th should be wrapped up.

Villa can get 55 points. Though, like us, they still have City and Liverpool in the run in. Still, at least there's 6 points again for us next season.

Didn't see their games in hand, can't be often you have two at this stage in the season. Just lucky they have City and Liverpool same as us.

Brighton got to play Leeds and West Ham, teams needing the points, can’t see them winning both personally, maybe 4 points for them, we need to beat Norwich and frankly if we don’t then we don’t deserve 8th

Of all the things Hojberg could have done then.

Title race over anyway. Which sounds ridiculous as Liverpool go top. But we all know Man City aren't losing one of their remaining fixtures.

Can't see Spurs finishing 4th even if they beat Arsenal.

Admittedly they should breeze through Burnley and Norwich, but Arsenal's fixtures are handy as well.
