I think Collins has more of the attributes to be a defensive full back than Toti does as a left back, and he did alright.

Sometimes satire is the best way to see what we've been missing! Thing is, everything you mention has got repeated so much, it's almost the accepted truth. We've got a squad of players where "you can see there's a player in there", just not this week, or last week or the week before. Eventually realise, this lot just aren't good enough and never were.

I can't see us getting 5/6 players into the starting 11. Not even 4 to be honest unless we sell Kilman.

This is how we are shaping up currently however definitely need improvement, my main targets would be fixing this winger situation. Neto was promising but injuries, Chiquinho might be in the same category, sarabia washed and hwang is Mr. Inconsistent.

Still think cunha is a capable striker, likes to shoot just need people to set him up better, poor shot quality when passes are there. Better midfielder would help him a lot

Semedo is probably the most irritating player for me, he get in really good spot but cant finish 2 feet out the net, would really like to see him replaced

I think Toti gives us a better balance in a back four than Bueno/Giles/RAN, especially if we sign an attacking right back like Baku.

Can't argue with that. Certainly quality. The squad needed improving as it was, but the task is even greater with Neves and Collins moving on (and to a lesser extent in terms of impact - Moutinho, Costa and probably Traore). We have a lot of work to do and players to shift still.
