Good luck pal, always appreciated the updates you've provided on here. I wouldn't wish cancer on my worst enemy, always give a little every month to CRUK.

Hi,
my wife and I are absolutely wishing you good things. You must feel very alone right now despite all the well wishes from friends and family but this medical challenge is about you.

As serious as your situation is please try not to despair. Ten years ago my wife, best friend, she who makes me a better man, had stage 4 cancer and although not all cancers are the same, she is fine and well.
I know of other friends in similar situations but also they too are well.

I don’t know what else to say to help you but, believe me, I wish I had something wise and more comforting to type here.
God speed to Illinois and both my wife and I hope that you have good news to send back home soon.

I won’t link them here unless you ask but several times Christopher Hitchens wrote about his cancer illness. They may or may not help you as you go through this.

Great news that you are heading out to Illinois Cornwall. They have some world leading cancer hospitals in the US. I have a friend who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He visited a world leading consultant in Dallas and amazingly he is still with us ten years on. I wish you all the very best and wish you a similarly positive outcome to my friend.
