Agree with you - but only a few seasons ago we did the double over them and went to games thinking we have that fighting 1-2 in 10 chance of wining. Now feels so desperate- worst thing we could do is score and poke bear - better to let them score 2 early goals and have 99% possession for rest of game….what a depressing post!!

Luckily I’m out for the day for the wife’s friends birthday. Bottomless brunch followed by emotional women winding each other up to then take out on their husbands when drunk… preferable to the alternative of playing City. As @manchesterwolf17 says, it’s nearly a pointless game (literally and figuratively) where we need to be perfect and lottery winning lucky. It’s not going to happen and we will do well to keep it under 5 - genuinely.

For certain posters: I’m hoping we win, will be delighted to be proven wrong and even happier to check my phone at 5pm to see we’ve won.
