I get it. Throw probably isn't the best term as I'd still expect maximum effort and performance from whatever team we put out but with 2 games in a short space of time some players will need resting and I'd rather our "stronger" line up play the cup game and give Julen the opportunity of a cup run and some excitement that isn't about getting out of the bottom 3.

Because if he did that and get hammered majority on here would be slating him for playing too many youngsters……just like how majority wanted Nuno out, but now want him back, just like how majority wanted to switch to a back 4 but now want to revert back to a 5, just like how majority wanted rid of Coady but now he is the best center half in the country and they want him back, just how the majority wanted rid of Adama and when he went to Barca they were all saying he shouldn’t have gone……and I could go on and on and on with other examples but you probably get the point….?
