You don’t want to make too many drastic changes, and Everton are far far worse than Brighton. Be tempted to get boubacor in there for Neto or hwang to deal with the physical threat of evertons modfield

Sa
Semedo Dawson kilman ran
Hwang gomes lemina Neto
Silva cunha
I think that’s spot on.

The angry fan in me wants to replace everyone except Cunha. Realistically:

Sa
RAN Dawson Kilman Doc
Traore Lemina Gomes
Cunha Silva
Sasa

A little more narrow. Why not?

Same team, go again. Obviously change Nunes. Hwang?

Everton are a completely different proposition to Brighton.

How on gods green earth is anyone picking semedo after today???

The only thing he did correctly today was put his kit on and ties his boot laces haha

Toti is going to be a permanent bench fixture until we get another centre back isn’t he?

Have you ever been complimentary towards the player, I rather think not.
Everyone else on the field today was, fine, I assume......

I was this week after his performance on Monday.

Even said before kick off I hoped he carried it on.

He was the weakest player on the pitch by a considerable distance and his positioning and lack of want to get back or keep track of his man was exposed with great regularity
Today. All their best chances and flashes across the goal came from initial balls in behind him.

Back 4....Doc,Dawson,Kilman,Toti.

Defend their set pieces and long ball stuff and build on that stability.

The rest of the side, whoever.... Just get that defence right (for this particular game).

Should Neto have been on the left today running at Milner?

Damn right he should.

Do these coaches know the opposition?

So we nearly got something from the game on Monday where the team worked hard, but instead you prefer to single out one individual.
No agenda then.

It’ll be our first real physical test, I’d definitely put Doc in for Semedo and
Hwang for Neto because of this

I’d like Sasa to start but despite being on the bench twice he’s still not fully fit(who puts unfit players on the bench!)

Today he was at fault for three goals and many chances.

Monday he was fantastic, I said he was……

Today he played like a drain, Dawson and kilman were also very poor.

But they weren’t routinely passed in behind or losing their man half as often as he did. All their moves and chances came down his wing, every team pick him out.

That isn’t an agenda…. That is a fact.

Look at how many goals we concede down his side or chances from there.

He was the worst of a very bad bunch today.

The back 4 were all poor, he wasn’t worst by a considerable distance though, I don’t think he was even the worst player in that defence, that was Dawson for me.

Everything bad in that second half stemmed from Dawson picking up that pointless booking because we’d been made to look like mugs by Mitoma so he felt the need to take someone out. From there on he couldn’t commit to challenges properly because he was on a booking, against possibly the worst side in the league for running at you and committing players. He got no where near Mitoma for the first despite the fact he ran through Dawsons side of our defence. The 3rd his lack of pace and getting caught out with a ball behind dragged Kilman over and left us wide open too.

Dawson being so badly off it meant Semedo was exposed and, as is always the case when that happens, he couldn’t handle it and played poorly too. Yes he wasn’t good, but he was by no means our worst player and swap him for Doherty yesterday and I don’t think anything about that result or performance changes, because both would be exposed by Dawson.

Dawson is overloaded and forced into 50/50 calls to cover for semedo and his consistent shortcomings he is too lazy or lacking professional pride to fix as they have haunted him his entire career….

Barca wanted rid of him the summer before and no one wanted him…. It was all over the Barca loyal papers they wanted him gone to upgrade as he wasn’t up
To snuff there….

When do Barca make a starter available and no one want them??? Not often, shows how bad a player he is, it took an uncle Jorge favour to his beloved Barca for an inflated fee to move him.

And sadly at the minute Dawson is getting those 50/50’s wrong.

A big decision is going to be whether or not to stick with Silva and give him a proper run of games.
