I just noticed this very childish thread on MM, dating from 15th june. Interesting is Aiden's slightly over the top reaction in the last post.

It's my guess that something was already afoot way before Essex became the scapegoat.

While we're at it, please note that any suggestion that this message
board is being used to arrange meetings which are likely to result in
illegal activities (e.g. assault) may result in the Express & Star
referring the matter to the police and permanently banning any posters
involved.

I can just see the police launching a surveilance operation on the NEC,
after a tip-off about a LIQ vs Ulven illegal boxing match being
organised on the internet
