I heard Nick cave and Kylie on the radio today and thought they were a strange pair to team up. Can anyone think of any more? The only other starnge one i can think of at the moment is the manic street preachers and traci lords.

The travelling Wilbury's always make me laugh. You've got Harrison who can sing a bit and orbison of course.......then Tom Petty and Bob Dylan come in on vocals.. $$$$ me it's like 2 scrap workers on a jolly boys karaoke!!

Not a bad pairing as such just an odd choice to let them sing together.

Elton John and Axl Rose - Freddie Mercury Tribute concert 1992.

Come to think of it, Elton John and Eminem were pretty diverse too!!

What about Tony and Raquel - Only Fools and Horses?

Eminem and Dido was pretty weird too. Quite why anyone would want to sing with that moron I don't know. I thought Eminem had better taste than that.:)

Coincidentally Kylie was the original choice for the vocals on that Manics track (Little Baby Nothing) but I think the record companies couldn't get the legalities sorted out.

A few years later the Manics ended up writing/producing "Some Kind of Bliss" for her.

That was a sample not a duet, wasn't it?
