No there are no links to him that I am aware of . But I just wondered what people's thoughts were about him as a possible candidate to be a dominant CB for us. Have heard very good reports from Stoke fans but of course it is a big step up from the Championship. Surely would not cost more than £15m? Thoughts?

I've seen him play. He's composed on the ball and a decent defender. Quite leggy though as you'd imagine so he lacks a yard of pace.

Top level speed he's probably ok, acceleration was what I meant by a yard of pace.
