Over the years we’ve had a horrible habit of dropping points against teams struggling. 4 points from the next 2 games would be ok, 6 would be fantastic. COYW.

Win today and its a record for us, will be the first time we will have had 5 successive victories against the same club in the PL, so COYW break a record and get Jones sacked.

From their forum it's suggested he is hoped to be a force to be reckoned with.

Also, one of their fans suggested there were a lot of tickets unsold, whereas another quickly responded it was almost a sell-out. I'd favour the latter claim - it's a big game for both clubs and for various reasons one not to be missed.

I'm just not nervous about this game at all, and its the Lopetegui factor!!! I had us down to beat Liverpool last week, and expect us to play in a similar vein today! There seems to be a major divide between the players and Jones atm and I fully expect JL to take advantage of that!!!

Sadly in some respects I'm old enough to remember our first season after we were relegated at the end of the golden Stan Cullis era.

It was 1965-66 and one of the early games, in September I think, was at Southampton. We lost 3-9, despite having a team that included Ron Flowers, Peter Knowles, Terry Wharton and Dave Wagstaffe!!

However I always remember us winning each of the next four games by 3-0 and thinking to myself that 15 goals in 5 games pretty well made up for the one defeat.

Just a 3-0 today would be wonderful please.

Before that 3-9 we'd scored 4,3,4,4 - then 5 games scoring 3 - 30 goals in 9 matches.

If we were wearing the home kit today the shorts would be black. You no longer have to change shorts when the colours clash. Some teams still do but we don't.

I didn’t see Sarabia in much of the training photos of videos and kinda expected he was the new injured one.

Very unfortunate.
