We were terrible second half though, so got what we deserved.
lost all width with Neto being injured, which is a worry as playing four at the back does not afford your full backs the space.

We played ok first half, should’ve been a couple up. They started strong second half and probably deserved it.

We were hopeless throughout. Rubbish tactical idea to expect a goal would result from Semedo and RAN just charging around and then got outbattled once they realised we had nothing to hurt them with. Subs were simply terrible and we got what we deserved in the end.

Every one to a man was poor (with the exception of Bellegarde).. unfair for us to lay blame at any players.

Stupid penalty to take by Fabio. Not sure why we'd ever play him at this point. He's a Championship, Eredivisie level striker at this point and may never be more than that.

Gary with some REALLY poor bench decisions today.

1. Too few subs. Bad conditions, players not playing well... USE ALL 5.
2. Wrong subs... again, Doc should have been on this game. Bellegarde should have been on earlier.
3. Didn't go for it at all... should have came out at half time pressing hard.
4. When subbing Sasa off, left Cunha in the middle instead of Hwang who has scored most of our goals.

Some really poor games by some players, but not due a lack of effort.

The unwillingness to shoot from RAN and Semedo definitely cost us two scoring chances, even if they shanked them.

You don't even go "in" there to have to "pull out" in the first place. No motions, no thinking about a motion, nothing. Just stand on your two feet and show the opposition player there's no space here.

That first goal conceded, yes there was a bit of luck, but how does a throw from their 18 yard box bounce twice before it gets to the half way line?

And why are we giving referees decisions to make every week? Hesitation in attempts to clear a ball 2 weeks in a row has cost us both times.

Game management by O’Neil was non-existent. Substitutions appeared to be drawn out of a hat. And still he refuses to make 5 subs. It’s like he’s stuck in 2018.

By pulled out, you mean "went in to tackle and clipped the back of his foot", there was definite contact.

I swear people invent whatever they want.


Last week there was nothing. Hwang pulled out of an attempt to go for the ball.

This week there was contact.

These are completely different things.

Disgraceful second half performance, half of them didn't look bothered. A hugely soft penalty decision against us second half but they probably deserved the win to be honest.

No idea what system or formation we were playing first half, we looked all over the place at times. Saying that, RAN missed an absolute sitter. He flatters to deceive when it comes to the attacking side of the game.
