Would be typical of the way our season is going, forcing players to play with injuries, then reaping the consequences.

I'm asking if this is true, not stating it as fact. Hopefully the person telling me this is misinformed

He did briefly hold his injured wrist in a bit of discomfort after making the penalty save with it. But he did also carry on playing.

Unbelievable if correct . Why has he been playing game after game with this wrist injury?

It wouldn’t be a shock, the blokes playing with a fractured wrist, it’s not going to get better that way surely??

Keen said the wrist he saved it with wasn’t the injured one. Would need to check the highlights.

He's played with it injured since the Fulham game be surprised if he's now decided to rest it which is what should have happened when he did it.

He was interviewed after the match on BBC WM and said that it was an issue previously but it was better now, so he didn't seem too concerned by it during or after the match. Also think Davis said after the match that he'd had scans previously and doctors suggested it wasn't a significant risk to play with because of where the break was.

I do like that we have so many injury specialists here that they can say with such certainty that the medical team were wrong, it's very helpful to have access to such expertise.
Incredible skill to be able to identify which of the 20 wrist bones is affected and the extent of the injury from the stands!

Sarkic must be thinking he's wasting his time being an understudy as when he's required he's simply ignored.

This story still mystifies me. 'I had a sore wrist that gave me some pain, but it's OK now, when you're a footballer sometimes you have to play on with an injury'. How does this (even in Keen's article) turn into a fractured wrist? Noticed in the warm up after he gave the kid his gloves, he had some strapping, which he tore off on the way off the pitch. He didn't look like he was any discomfort at all. It's just a load of rubbish IMO and I expect him to play Tuesday.

When asked about his wrist, Sa said: “Now it’s better. But after I did it against Fulham we played Tottenham and it was difficult.

He was banging his wrists together after saving the penalty. I’m going to assume on that basis it can’t be too bad?

Sarkic is ok.....but he is what yerson and toti are , a massive downgrade on the starting 11.......keep saying we need to try and improve the back up options, it's difficult but we need some homegrown improvements in the squad.....Dawson and brownhill would be decent in January......
