Here are the facts. Make your own mind up whether he has a case.....
He also claims, "that as a result of the failures following surgery, he has suffered from increased distress and anxiety in not knowing the real cause of his suffering from significant continuing swelling and pain, which was preventing him from returning to professional football and ultimately ending his career, but pursuing his treatment upon the basis that he had suffered some very unusual complication that was hard to explain.”
So is specialist surgeon Andy Williams, credited with saving and/or prolonging the careers of Virgil van Dijk, Theo Walcott, Andy Carroll, Danny Welbeck, John Terry, Andrew Flintoff and Shoaib Akhtar, among many others, to blame?

This case will be expensive. Hopefully for him he's using a 'no win, no fee' firm, or I suspect any defeat will leave him bankrupt.
It'll certainly be interesting to see how this one pans out!

- His knee became infected and he was unable to walk without the use of crutches.
- In March 2017, a second operation was required.
