No need at all. Maybe at the end if we beat them. Let them have their song. They'll belt it out constantly all night mind, will probaly be stuck in our heads after!

We're just like 99% of other fans, copy other songs. Personally I'd think it would be rubbish by them if they sang the same song for 45 minutes, gets boring.
We need big rousing We are Wolves, Stevie Bulls a tatter, Those were the Days, Nuno had a dream, Neves song(gets loud that one), Wanderers Scarf.

I’d much rather us come up with our own. Surely there’s a Led Zep song we can use?

I suppose the stealing of the Stone Roses tune is inevitable though. If we must pinch it, can I suggest the words:

Is there nothing we can come up with that takes on Slade "Cum on feel the noize"? That has to be able to work well

We tried in the original song thread the best we could come up with was yesterday!!
Wouldn't it be great to produce our own loud song that everyone else wanted to pinch off us

REALLY????? I hope not....Those lyrics are absolutely turd.
The song itself though is a classic...Well it would be,what with it coming from the greatest album of all time.

Oh,and sorry if you disagree,but you're wrong,and I'm sure you'll get over it.

Agree it should be our loud song with not too much effort lyrics, something you could sing when you're virtually unconscious on the train back from Barnsley Away :D

Quite often, the best football songs, are simple songs everyone remembers the words to.
But the song has to be good. Your version ticks the four boxes you mention.
This song has been mentioned a lot in the past but has never caught on like it could have done.
Perhaps your version will catch on this time round.
