Dont think we will see neves. Earliest pic of him in training were from friday morning i think so doubt he is quite up to speed yet. Having said that saiss was only back a day or so and he had a bit of game time against crewe

I think you're expecting the transition to attacking football from super defensive football to happen a little too quickly!!

I wouldn't mind that either so the second half side isn't overwhelmed like they were against Crewe, and Perry/MGW were the two standouts from that game for me. Really interested to see how quickly Mosquera can adapt to this level of football, albeit it's a friendly but Betis are good competition after finishing 6th in La Liga last year.

I'd love to see Chem Campbell have a good game as well, he looks to me like the one from the academy that's most likely to breakthrough and we've seen enough attacking English talent 18 or younger in the Premier League (or abroad) performing well lately - Sancho, Greenwood, Saka, Foden etc.

Expecting an improvement too, should be a good test today. Betis came 6th in La Liga last season, even ahead of Europa League champions Villarreal.

Ended last season really strongly too, going unbeaten in the last 11 games which included facing teams such as Real Madrid, Atleti, Valencia, Atletic Bilbao, Granada & Celta Vigo.

At the risk of being shot down and told I am a doom monger etc. I would expect to see an improvement today from the Crewe game. It would be nice to see us score for a start and not make stupid defensive errors.

It may be only a pre season game but we need to get some sort of momentum going and an identity before the season starts.

It's a 4-4-2 defensively with Trincao and RAN dropping in, and Silva playing off Jimenez. All semantics regardless, it's a fluid system that changes.
