Reading half marathon

Hi guys,

I know that isn’t at all directly wolves related but I am trying to raise as much sponsorship as possible for a worthy cause. ( please delete though mods if this isn’t allowed )

I’m running the Reading half Marathon on 18th March to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation. My dad passed away 3 years ago in March after many operations and support funded and researched by the BHF and along with being an avid wolves supporter since a boy was always doing various fund raising activities which when I look back on what I have done leave me feeling very ashamed, with that said I have entered this half marathon so that when completed I can finally have something I achieved on a charity front that he would have been very proud of. The course takes me around the streets of Reading with the finish line being inside the Madeski stadium which I’ll take great pride in running and completing whilst wearing my Wolves baseball cap!

Final plea guys from my MM friends. Running this in aid of British heart foundation in memory of my late father. Tonight’s game also offers an opportunity for the run to allow me a greater smile if the result goes our way given my vest!

Sadly the half marathon has been cancelled this morning in Reading! I came down last night and it looked dodgy then but hoped it would be on. Anyway for anyone who has donated, rest assured as I’ve just entered the Sheffield Half on April 8th.

Still gutted this wasn’t on after all the training!

Ran this today in Sheffield. Let’s just say it’s damn hilly!!! Anyway I got round and was quite chuffed to do it in 2 hours and 8 mins. Cheers to those who donated, it was and is very much appreciated.
