Have conflicting feelings about this World Cup. Would like our boys to do well but also not to play too much and to be home nice an early to build under JL. Would most benefit us if Portugal got to the quarter-finals at the most (maybe a heroic defeat against Brazil that they won't feel so down about). Conflicting feelings though as I'd love our captain, Neves, to be a World Cup winner. Hwang won't go very deep into the tournament with South Korea, and I imagine that Raul won't get a game for Mexico, he looks nowhere near ready.

I don't think we ever would have got him for 25m. All the rumours indicted atleast 40. Benfica know how to charge clubs for their players and make a ridiculous amount.

The only big miss is Nunes, would have liked him to have the time with Julen, defining his role, getting into patterns.
Neves is Neves, the gaffer knows what he’s about, and atm you’re pretty much guaranteed class from him whatever job he’s given.

Actually think this will be a big tournament for Neves. For the non-believers to finally take notice, surrounded by quality he should shine, provided the balance is right.
