Non-League Day during the international break in September seems now to be becoming an annual event.

Personally I hate international breaks. These days I've little interest in the England team and I really miss not having a Wolves game to look forward to.

Now I've got into the swing of the football season following the summer break, I hate a Saturday without a match so it's Worcester City v. Bradford Park Avenue for me in the Skrill Conference (North).

Following the sale of their ground at the end of last season Worcester City are currently homeless and have agreed a ground share with Kidderminster Harriers for a minimum of two years.

As a special offer for Non-League Day admission is reduced to £5 for STHs of other clubs.

Just wondering if any others on here are planning a visit to a Non-League game or alternatively how they might be dealing with the frustration of a Wolves-free Saturday afternoon?

I occasionally go and watch Braintree Town.

In fact this Saturday they are home to Forest Green who sit 6th in the league on 11 points whilst Braintree are 9th on 10 points so potentially a good game? Now you've brought the subject up might even pop along.

I'm tempted to go to Dorchester Town's game against Concord Rangers on Saturday. I haven't been to Canvey Island since I was little.

My Gran and Grandad used to take me every year. It'd be nice to see what it's like now even if it is a dive.

Suppose as a place to visit now and then not so bad but that's about the best I can say mate.

But if you think of it as a dive andy you won't be disappointed. Although being fair I've not had reason to go there a long while now so maybe it has improved?

If nothing else it's a day out and it'll be worth it if the Maggies come back with the 3 points. :D

There's all the other added bonuses andy, stick of rock, popcorn, candy floss and that's in the car there mate.:D

Should you go have a good day.

If I go to Braintree one of the highlights is an Iron, club nickname you see, burger. Easier to list what they don't put in it. Meal on it's own.

I used to follow the "Pitmen" ( Hednesford town ), as a second team when I lived in h Heath Hayes.

They've had some hard times but now seem to be on the way back.

Promoted to the Skrill conference North this season and top of the league at the moment.

Anyone who can, please do come to Aggborough to watch Worcester City. They really need with every single penny at the moment and are in real danger of going bust in the next couple of years. They're a decent side and play good football too- should be a good game.

I go and watch Bilston Town FC. They got promoted last season and the atomsphere down Queen Street is great with some real characters in the crowd. They are struggling a bit at the moment having lost a few of there better players but team is always full of spirit and games are always entertaining

To be fair there's a (more or less) full programme of fixtures in our league so I'm not sure where this Non League Day has sprung up from. Can't we drop down two or three places if results go against us?

Peterborough can go top if they win by 4 clear goals. Both Wolves and Leyton Orient will have a game in hand on them which will be played on the 17th. Personally I fancy Crewe to pull it out of the bag against them.

I've got my kids' birthday party at 3pm, so for once I'm glad it's an international break. By 3.30 I'll be wishing I was at Kidderminster though!
