Post Lopetegui refusal, listed roughly based on their current odds.

Who I'd want is a different answer to those that I think are realistic options.

From that list I'd want Amorim but its never happening.

Gone for Conceição as he’s a Mendes client and possibly attainable. Would prefer AVB but just don’t see any chance of it happening.

Would ideally like Svensson who clearly has the ability to turn around flailing sides.

Could you add an option for 'I've no idea'?

(I've no idea)

I appreciate that not many folk will agree with me, but I would go for Benitez as a temporary manager until the end of the the season. He is vastly experienced and has worked in the Premier League for a few different clubs. I believe he would get the team motivated and to start playing as they can.

How motivated did his Everton side look?

Benitez is one of the managers who makes Lage look like he strives to own all of his mistakes. The original Mr "It's not my fault"...

He admitted that he should never have taken the Everton job. His comments when manager of Liverpool ensured he would have a difficult time.

As I said, I accept my view will not be popular, but it is my opinion.

From that list, not Martins or Benitez.

Unai Emery would be my first choice if he was interested, which he isn't.

Amorim, AVB, Svennson, Dyche and Conceicao are all probably worth a gamble - in that order.

However I cannot believe we're serious about Amorim given the reported buyout.

I'm going AVB. Maybe he was being lined up before Lopetegui became "available", perhaps he's back in the frame?

I’m starting to not completely hate the Sean Dyche idea.

Amorim has the potential to be another long running saga that doesn’t end well so I’d be wary of that.

Voted Dyche for a loff and I’m in the mood for chaos.

Crikey AVB is only 44
Won the Europa League at 32. Would be a good choice if he’s actually looking for work.

Because he’s only done it in the Greek league and they all spend their weekends watching Greek football so know exactly how **** he must be
Take a look at how many times Olympiacos have won the Greek league.

Why does everyone think Martins is ****?

I think it’s more that it would feel as underwhelming as appointing someone like Neil Lennon whilst he was at Celtic.

Managing a club with the biggest resources in a not particularly competitive league, is completely different to managing in the PL. Especially when you need to scrape the whole squad off pretty much rock bottom.

I'd like AVB, even if he is likely to be a short term fix he's got a few years in, prem experience, did okay at Tottenham.

Pedro martins has a very good record in portugal and achieved success in europe for Olympiocos. Sa and podence think he's a great coach.
They also dominated us in the second leg when we had prime jota. Martins has the experience and wants to be here.
Lopetegui has messed us around twice now.
