Neves finish or team goal?

Considered posting this on one of several threads, but maybe deserves its own.

Neves’ finish was exceptional. Touch, placement, guile, execution……..

But watching the highlights, it was truly an incredible team goal finished by Neves, that probably hasn’t got the recognition it deserves. Yes the finish was a bit dirty, but the whole move from start to finish was pure filth if you watch the entirety

On highlights goal kick starts at 9:48 goal is scored at 10:15.

In 27 seconds, the ball was played from a goal kick, first down the right, switched to left, back to right and sublime finish.

9 passes, 8 players, full length of pitch

It was really noticeable just how many bodies we were regularly getting into the box against Watford, the trick is to do the same against the better teams who won't be as willing to sit back and let us swarm them.

I agree that it was a great team goal - even the top teams rarely manage to go from goalkeeper to goal with 9 passes, 8 players and such a wonderful finish! Great spot, analysis and post Leominster.

I only noticed this watching the highlights this morning, was a great team goal and something which is worked on in training i guess, the finish was just the icing on the cake.

Yes a great build up. I however have always been of the opinion someone has to put it in the back of the net. Otherwise the greatest build up in the world is forgotten straight away. Neves finished it as did Bully so many times. Thank the World they have both played for us.

Funny you say that because, personally, I think the header was for Podence.
