From a quick Google he was featured and made a guest appearance on the Modern Soccer Coaching podcast in 2018. Never heard of it, but could be worth a listen

If it is this guy then of course I hope he succeeds and from what I’ve read he seems to have been one of if not the main driving force behind Gerrards success.

I must admit to being a bit worried about what this means for the ‘project’.

If we’d have appointed someone with the standing of Lopetegui I’d have been a lot more confident about him being backed financially as it would have been seen as a bit of a coup getting in a coach of his standing.

Will Beale have the same standing to be able to make the same kind of demands for backing?

If it turns out to be true I hope it turns out to be one of those inspired appointments that other teams seem to manage.

Like others I have my reservations.

He will have my support and will get the benefit of the doubt unless and until he proves unworthy of it.

Not going to lie I was/am hoping for a rather bigger/more experienced name.
