Lets be hypothetical and say he does somehow leave for £30m id be happy knowing that FOSUN would probably have something amazing lined up, as apparently last year we were close to Cancelo who no matter how much people rate Doherty, Cancelo is on another level.

I have been a fan of Doc for years, even when he was getting slated by the fans. But you offer £20-30m for him and I don't think you can turn it down. He's a good player but a product of the system and I think Jonny and Vinagre have more potential.

I’d sign for WBA tomorrow if it meant I could be a professional footballer. Don’t get me wrong I’d choose Wolves first given an option, but let’s say hypothetically I was a player at Luton Town and WBA came knocking and doubled my wages, I’d be straight there!

That's a squad of 25. If you have less than 8, the home-grown rule limits your squad size. We are nowhere near 25 so shouldn't be an issue either way.

Perhaps that's why Nuno also wants a small squad, so as not to dilute the quality.
