Some friends of mine are working on a startup company which is building a second-screen app for live football.

They are running live tests at the moment during Champion's League games.

Looks like the annoying chat thing they have on the streaming websites full of absolute berks. If you want to chat to your mates whilst watching a match go to the bloody match with them.

Think it's a great idea but if it gets popular I can see it filling up with Robots spamming advertisements all over it. Needs to be well moderated

You can never have enough links to porn sites

In all seriousness though I just can't see it working unless its very well moderated.

I think the idea is that the group you talk with will be your friends, not just anybody, so that should go some way to remove the spammy content.
