Banning either is pointless. MAC will just be formed as something else and so will possibly the EDL. The EDL might even get some unwanted publicity from getting banned

As to the EDL, aren't they just the modern version of the National Front?

Why not just lock some of them up (from both) for incitement?

Not that I agree with it but surely you have to ban the support or publicising of certain ideas otherwise the Judean Peoples Front simply becomes the Peoples front of Judea tomorrow.
