With the Celtic connection do you think we may be interested in 'the new Roy Keane' Liam Miller now thats he's surplus to requirements at Man Utd.

He was at Leeds on loan last season and didn't particularly stand out, but do you think he could do a job for us (if the transfer fee and wages are reasonable)?

A slow, lightweight, injury prone midfielder. Just what we need.

Im not sure loanming them a future african player of the year, and them signing a free agent who used to play for us (and us doing likewise) counts as a connection....and certainly not enough for them to give us a cheapo deal because we're 'mates'.....

We don't want him. We have Davies and Rosa and now Finkler in that category. In the midfield department we need a work-horse who can put his foot in and also a winger would be nice.

MM played for them surely - isn't that the connection referred to?

Especially as he doesn't play for them

I don't want him and I don't see any reason to suspect McCarthy will be too bothered.

We've hopefully signed the velvet glove today, with luck the iron fist will be next.

That was the connection I was thinking of rather than Visages more elaborate effort. Miller was highly rated by Celtic before joining Manure, but it's obviously not worked out for him

All we need to do is sign someone who can 'bost' and our central midfield will be sound.

Bostin, what a great word. Born and hammered into shape in the Black Country!

Bost however is Cannock Chase for burst or broken!
