Just one point separates the two teams after the weekend’s results, with the teams now poised in 16th and 17th place, teetering right on the edge of the relegation zone.
Leeds fell to their fourth defeat in five matches on Saturday with defeat at Fulham, and have conceded a total of 17 goals across those four losses.
Javi Gracia’s side are now only a point above the drop zone heading into the next round of fixtures with just six matches to go.
The Whites’ final four matches of the season are against Man City, Newcastle, West Ham and Tottenham, making it all the more important they pick up points in their next two games against fellow strugglers Leicester and Bournemouth.
The Foxes make the trip north fresh off the back of their first win since February, ending a run of nine defeats in their previous 10 matches in all competitions, drawing the other.
Dean Smith steered the 2016 Premier League champions to victory over Wolves last weekend in his second match in charge since taking over from Brendan Rodgers until the end of the season.
The east Midlands side are now out of the bottom three but only goal difference separates them from 18th place Everton, who they meet next Monday.
Leeds have won only one of the last nine matches between the two teams, while Leicester have won on five of their last seven visits to Elland Road.
