That’s my transfer philosophy. I learned a long, long time ago to just wait and see what happens in a window otherwise I get disappointed. Some things I can’t control.
Wolves are doing ok and I’m enjoying their comeback.

If there is no midfield player coming in now then it will be beyond a joke and Bruno's squad will be lighter than it was a week ago. Jordao was looking good in the u23's and I am really surprised they are loaning him to Grasshoppers to be honest.

We are doing more for their squad than our own. Please get some reinforcements in for our first team Mr Shi. We will be left with a squad that is too weak in February at this rate!

Just because he's naming players that we're already rumoured to be interested in doesn't mean his info isn't honest.

He's passing on what he's been told. If he's been told wrong, who cares?

Doesn't mean he's not passing on info in good faith.

They can get away with this as long as we have no injuries to midfielders, and keep performing as well as we are currently. But its a hugely risky strategy, If Moutinho and/or Neves are out for some time, results will suffer.
And thats not even taking into account that Lage would like to refresh things and try different options..

I for one really appreciate your perspective Cornwall. I know one agent very well and sometimes have input on Wolves transfer targets but do not generally post for confidentiality reasons. I did however post that SEB would be joining us many years ago.

If we don’t sign a first team player it’s just really bloody poor. I feel for Bruno, constantly calling for reinforcements and we’re going to end up going into February with a weaker squad than we went in with. Putting a lot of faith in getting Neto back and avoiding injuries in midfield. Such a shame when we’ve got ourselves into such a strong league position.

Both Adama and Jordao were on the bench against Brighton. What is it to be in February? 3 keepers on the bench again. Why are those in charge seemingly hellbent on always leaving us with a squad that is too small?

Bruno clearly wants a bigger squad and Shi and Sellars are doing the exact opposite!

He might be injury-free and fit, but surely he's way off match fit given his long absence.

That's not to say he couldn't do a job off the bench.

Interesting though, when both he and Cundle were subs, Bruno chose the latter. I'm guessing therefore that Luke is ahead of him in the pecking order.

Jordao out on loan makes sense for him, but we will all shudder as Neves/Moutinho go into a challenge if nobody comes in. Imagine a scenario where we play, let’s say Burnley. One of their ball winners v Moutinho and the latter sustains an injury. Neves, all guns blazing flies into a challenge and rightly or wrongly (in our opinion) gets red carded… we would be stuffed.
Unlikely maybe, but a possibility given the pace and physical nature of the premier league.
