Seem to remember that Rangers into whips and chains to, kinky, kinky!

edit: Although that might have been a verse added in the pub when we'd had a few.

The version on YouTube I have just listened to has Suzy being the one into whips and chains. ( Am I really typing this on football forum :D:D:D ) type in on YouTube Yogi Bear Rude Song and that version comes up.

I would perhaps suggest "Those were the days" although bearing in mind that it's release date was 1968 and the fact that it reached No 1 in the charts, I can only think every team in the football league would have had a claim on that one, from Carlisle United to Bradford Park Avenue.
Ipswich used to sing TWTD, not sure whether they still do.

Silver Lining isn't just played over the tannoy at Hillsborough, their fans sing it during games.

I personally can't stand it. The Liquidator isn't original but it's a better song and creates a better atmosphere.

Don't recall hearing it (TWTD) when we played there earlier in the season.
Re "Hi ho", it's not my favourite, but the club are more likely to retain it rather than allow the Liquidator (complete with expletives) to be rolled out before kick off.
I know which I prefer, but then the latter let's say has (for me) some emotional attachment from yesteryear.

Hi Ho Silver lining at least gets the crowd singing together. But I hate the song they play at the end - Rocking all over the world. It does the job I suppose to get people to leave the stadium quickly.
I’m not against tradition but I’m glad we don’t have one of those awful old tacky crappy fake legacy songs like Zcars, Blowing bubbles, Blue Moon, Glad all over, Country Road, Hey Jude, some seaside song etc.etc
