Got a great footie Father's Day card from my son which made me chuckle. On the front it says 'Dad as you're mad about football...........what commentators say and what they actually mean'; inside it reads:
'A competitive player if ever I saw one' means '****ing dirty'
'A seasoned player' means 'old and knackered'
'A loyal club player' means 'nobody wants him'
'Very economical with the ball' means 'never gets near it'
'Flair player' means 'bloody show off'
Got me to thinking I could attach certain Wolves players to each of those descriptions!
