It had changed for defenders already, maybe not officially but they had stopped being so ridiculous about it.

Regarding other changes, this was an interesting snippet:

In a briefing on Friday, Rosetti also stressed that there must be "clear evidence" before a video assistant referee (VAR) disallows a goal awarded by an on-field referee, and said that television viewers will only see the "final" line used for offside decisions.

So, no more people getting furious when they see the VAR officials jiggling the lines to get the decision they want

EDIT: just read that back and I can't believe how paranoid that makes me sound!
