I know it's only fun but there is no way we will ever again repeat what happened last season - great results v top six, terrible results v bottom clubs. Having said that I think we can match the results v the top sides and certainly would hope to do better v Villa, Sheff and Norwich than against the relegated sides last season.

Yep. I've spent most of my Wolves supporting life being safe in the knowledge that optimism is counter productive.

Obviously I'm acutely aware that Nuno and this team are World's away from the dross that has littered most of the past 30 years but I don't want to jinx them by being massively positive.

I think we all know Wolves' success and my state of mind are intrinsically linked.*

Our 6 points will all come on Boxing Day and the 28th December obviously.
