Hi all thinking of moving from Wednesfield to Finchfield. Havnt got family or friends there just like a house in the area. Anyone know what the areas like to live in? Any advice on where not to live in the area? Thanks.

No not really Finchfield and Penn and Tettenhall are all the best areas of the town, on the western outskirts. Each has council estates but they are generally pretty good ones.
Of course you can have a **** of a neighbour wherever you go.

Not really. It's one if the nicest areas in Wolves.

Just to reiterate, Finchfield is nice, although some of the area as you get around Merridale/Jeffock Road can be a bit dicier, always felt you need to watch yourself in Bantock Park (it’s not Heath Town though!). Very nice towards the Compton/Castlecroft end.

As someone who lives a stones throw from heath town, there is genuinely no comparison in fact i found the comparison quite funny

No! Just think if you walk down Merridale Road towards Bradmore you have to be a bit wary, particularly around Merridale Lane and the flats set back from the road. Bantock Park tends to attract pondlife as well.

Finchfield is very nice. I lived in merry hill (not the one with the shopping center!!!) for many years which was a stones throw from finchfield lane and used to hang around there all
The time as friends and family lived there.

I’d move there again, I even did a paper round there for years so I know every road and alleyway. I never saw a bad house/road and always felt safe.

Grew up in Whitmore Reans, so not that much! Went to Highfields though, later lived in Penn, so know that area like the back of my hand. Always a dodgy element from Graisley/Penn Fields that would hang around Bantock.

So was i mate. Yeah espeically where i live Ashmore park, schools not great either want better for my lad and heard west side of Wolverhampton is a lot better. Cheers.
