Because before the Euros Italy lost a few matches and we won some.

Like its already been pointed out they are a joke and don't seem to take into account success at a major tournament.

system isn't perfect but then what have brazil done in recent years?

brazil were defeated 1/4s of the copa america and mainly play useless friendlies vs qatar kuwait for £££

world cup were average at best for them compared to previous years points they were defending

will drop lower within the next year prior to the world cup as they have no qualfiers to gain points
