My farewell ode to Nuno:

The best manager we’ve had in 40 years
Nuno’s departure has left me in tears
The European nights and top players we’ve seen
The best footballing side we’ve ever been

You should have stayed on with us for so much longer
And Built a dynasty to challenge the Big 6 with their wonga
Now it’s come to an end, as it wasn’t to be,
But you taught us that dreaming’s for free

All the injuries, your departure it did hasten
Not forgetting VAR, Mike Dean and Lee Mason
Covid meant we couldn’t be there to support
No cauldron of noise to exhort

Even if we had the brains of Prince Harry
We’d still know you stand amongst greats like McGarry
Cullis, Barnwelll you are up with them too
Top managers we’ve had far too few

To make sense of it all I’ve been thinking,
There must be more to this, that’s just my inkling

Maybe time will reveal a big secret
There’s rumours around don’t repeat it
With the Steve Bull stand looking so tatty
It’s possible that Jeff Shi’s a Bhatti

So farewell Nuno, you bearded wonder
I think the decision they’ve made is a blunder
We wish you the best and Send you off with good cheer
And hope you come back to us soon for a beer

Brilliant Boss.

....
Simply the N.E.S.
The Light from our Darkness.
And Yet.

You begin again, we begin again.
And Get?

- you , we hope, a great future,
- us, we KNOW, a great past.

(For example as a sample, Car is dented, boiler's bust,
Yet Cardiff game means we're not fussed. Cheers me babbies! And you, Nuno, for that pitch-running ecstasy!)

Portu-geysers, do they do it in the rain?

Inspirational guy, deserves to start again,
while we pick up the pieces and then and then -
- that old refrain, again -
Attack-Attack!
Attack- Attack-Attack!

Yep there is more to this story; things just don't add up
but if you're looking for another poem you're bang outta luck
