He's about 3 weeks away in a bit concerned we aren't giving young lemina a chance as he's a winger I'm not sold on chirewa was poor v villa, chiwome looks like he will be a good player . Fraser probably championship is his peak we need to see who else is coming through. Would like to see what Holman can do

Chirewa seems to be playing out wide when he's come on for the first team. You'd assume it's that rather than him being **** given he's been decent for the youth teams?
Can't imagine we see Gonzalez in the first team this season.

Nothing to see I'm afraid....given a serious amount of time he maybe ok but at the minute it looks anything but a reasonable signing.....in a summer window which was all about clawing back finances it seems remarkable he was one of the players we decided to spend on.....just seems bizarre at the time and bizarre looking back.....

Yea got no problem with him at such......just seemed bizarre signing in the summer when we was watching the finances that's all....we let podence go for option to buy 5m and spent 5m on a young kid from Paraguay who didn't own a suitcase.....
We wasn't in position to sign a kid who might come good in 3/4 years....and its not what you do when you are watching the pennies ...Doyle was 5m.....
He wasn't what we needed in the summer and 5 mins token debut in the last home game proves it...we then couldn't pay a loan fee for a striker in January..
It's not dissing the lad ....
It's probably exactly the type of signing lopetugui didn't want....hence he walked ....
He will offer nowt next season....

Thought he looked sharp and busy always wanting the ball. Solid in possession and good movement. Let’s put it this way, I would be more than happy to see him play ahead of Sarabia!

We won’t lose the money we paid on him.
If it doesn’t work, he will go on a loan to the MLS like campana and we will make a small profit.
This is the kind of take a punt signing we should be taking as if it works amazing, but if it doesn’t we won’t lose out.
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, we didn't let Podence go 'for an option to buy £5m'. There is no option to buy and indeed we got him to sign an extended contract with us as part of the loan.

I know that an extended contract was signed (until the end of 25 with a one year option for the club to extend) before he went on loan. I also know that the Guess and Stir stated that there was no option to buy. However other sources have made contrary comments so l personally am uncertain about the truth. You may of course have better information.
