First time in over 20 years I've turned off a Wolves match.
No passion, outfought, out-muscled, no skill.
Capitulated completely.
Embarrassing!
Over the top I think. We were out-fought I agree, but Palace very strong team.

Perhaps Bruno underestimated that.

Quite an embarrassing post really to be fair. Are we multiple champions league winners with Pep Guardiola at the helm now?

**** me, palace ain't mugs. If this was against Norwich then I might see a reason for this kind of a post.

"First time I've switched off" - I've seen far worse performances than that. Did you see us get spanked against Southampton at home 6-0? The Burnley games last season or when Huddersfield dominated us? Any games in the championship relegation season? Give your head a wobble .

This was the game that broke you? Where have you been for the last 18 months, there were a few doozies in there. 4-0 Burnley in particular.

This wasn't good, but it wasn't even in the top 100 "worst matches" of the past 50 years. The 2-0 home defeat to Palace in the first Premier League season under Nuno was far, far worse. As were probably half our matches last season.

It is a bit concerning how often either Raul or Hwang or (like today) both of them , just looks totally off it.

Has been for a number of away games . Don’t know what he watches not changing players mid match before we go behind

I mean it was basically the shame **** that Nuno served up for 18 months.

I'm gutted at the way we lost, but seriously, give your head a wobble. That's not the worst we've played since our return to the Premier league. Along with some fabulous performances too.

Palace scored 2 goals in open play against a team set out to defend. Not something we do often, is it? Set pieces, latching onto errors, must be 90% of our goals. The first goal against Villa was well worked..though wasn't it just after a set piece? We don't seem to create and score anywhere near enough chances like the 2 Palace scored today.

And it leaves you arguing about penalties that weren't given (been there a million times) or blaming a defender who makes one mistake. Both goals today, I'm sure someone will have the microscope out on Saiss or Coadies every step until they figure out how to blame them for the defeat. But for me, Palace just worked the ball better and tied us in knots in a way our forwards aren't doing to opponents.

<EDIT> Though on that 2nd Palace goal, we do have 1 player who can score goals exactly like that. Loaned to Sheff Utd though.

I started a thread months ago and the gist of it was that for the next several years I could accept that we can’t catch up with the big guys and would bounce around between 8th. and 14th.
Not ideal but better than not being in the PL.

But to constantly see us playing lousy football is hard to accept. Yes we have some wins but good lord, Villa was lucky, we all thought Everton would tie it up or win, maybe Leeds too. We were helped along with several scrambly goals and a few tap-ins.
We were bossed in too many games, can’t string passes or lose possession frequently etc.

You want it both ways, yes we were poor at Villa and scraped a win with a miracle, but against Everton we were awesome for the first half and mostly controlled the second half, Sa made one save. So somehow 2 games we won have turned to a negative. There's pretty much nobody in this league we can ever roll over. Ironically this season, with the exception of Brentford, we have beaten lower 3rd sides, got decent results against middle 3rd sides and lost to top 3rd teams. Maybe we'd be happier if we went back to beating Spurs and losing to Huddersfield.

Lost to a team playing well on their ground who beat Man City at Manchester . 2-0
We lost this match to them last year.
Its OK to lose once in a while . Lets hope Bruno learns why we lost.

Ok…..the Everton game.
We were great first half…..second half very poor. Same players, same venue, same weather.
We lost momentum and they took control. NP as it happens even to City, Liverpool in some games. The difference is they strive to take back the control…..we don’t.

Yeah, if you discount lots of Wolves goals for purely aesthetic and utterly arbitrary reasons, we've barely scored - what's that all about?! Christ.

Yes we’ve scored some beauties but so far this season, we had some lucky or goals.

You mean like every team ever?

What's Chelsea's Officially Adjusted Points Total when discounting lucky or ugly goals?
