We were told Enzo Gonzalez is ready to challenge for the first team, yet when we need a goal in a secondary cup competition O'Neill leaves Doherty as a winger and brings on a defensive midfielder ahead of him.

Recruitment clearly not on the same page as the manager.

Not necessarily. Ipswich have been playing well and are riding high at the moment. I think any Wolves fan will have recognised that.
Mate….. there is positivity and then there is summing after a performance like that.

They also made 10 changes so wasn’t their first 11.

If it was their first 11 I would actually agree…… but it was their reserves

A 5 goal thriller which we just came out the wrong end of.

Yes, we didn't go through but Ipswich are in fine form so was always going to be a tricky match.

Could be a blessing in disguise so we can concentrate on the league with a chance to take something off City on Saturday.

Keep the faith...
What faith, this is the worst set of players we have had since L1. We have spent over 100 mill on our forward line who look about as toothless as a 30 year old west brom fan. Our defence and midfield look hopeless and our keepers are both a walking disaster. We have the worst manager in the top 4 divisions and our owners couldn't care less. We made Luton look like 1970 Brazil

Really enjoyed that. Great to see everyone giving it their all. Two great goals just undone by a lack of concentration at the end of the first half and a wonder goal from Taylor in the second. Other than that a really good run out with plenty of combinations tried and positive contributions throughout.
Such a shame we have city on Saturday to likely rub our noses in it with another handful, but I can certainly see us bouncing back against the Villa, and if not, the only way is up after that.

Is that a spoof of gormless GON's likely twaddle or have you drunk the whole contents of the Greene King brewery?

Hobbs is a scout and thats what he should stay as, great at spotting a player. About as useless as the **** next to him for manager spotting
That's Wolves these days. Why get a specialist in to do the job when somebody already here can half **** the job on the cheap?
Jeff Shi masterclass.

Disappointing, especially after such a good start. I can understand why fans are getting nervous.
Now this is a fair post mate as we did start well and it is disappointing how the wheels fell off.

just as a follow on to the post about wuming…… there is a difference between balanced positivity where it can be seen and straight up wumming.

Sadly, I have seen enough

Derry never impressed.

We are underperforming and look like we don’t care

Sorry, but Silva shows me very little . Then neither did plenty of others
Doc
Hwang
Doyle

That’s about it

So disappointed in what we are
This needs urgent life saving surgery.

I said from the start the longer he is here the more damage he does to the squad and morale…….

This result and performances will be very damaging to those who played if they care about the shirt or are honest professionals which they are and seem to be from the socials and videos.

The search for the replacement should have already been underway, if it isn’t in the morning heads need to role as we need someone to take over just beforer for the international break……

Not sure why there is all this angst and bitterness.
95% of posters on here wanted us to lose and want a severe spanking on Saturday.
Rejoice.
No incentive for him to do better.
If he’s gone by end of October he is bound to get at least a year’s money for 3 months work.
Hobbs is the new Golden Tit.
You aren’t sure why there’s all this angst and bitterness??

So it’s the fans fault for not incentivising him to do better, despite nothing but support inside every ground he’s represented our club at?

Sorry, I don’t care how much you think this experiment might eventually evolve, it’s time to cut the BS and realise we hired a very poor manager.

No I'm serious. Even after we went behind the way we got numbers in an around the box and tried to work opportunities was better than usual. If Silva and Hwang hadn't been offside so often we could have won 4-3, very entertaining stuff.

There's undercover Albion supporters on here telling us to stick with GON and have patience.

There's undercover Albion supporters running Fosun, too. Must be, would explain our capitulation and why every time we get a decent manager, they are pushed out. Wasting money on hyped up players who don't want to be here, but pump up the agents profits. Jeff Shi said they were going to take over Albion, before they moved in on us. Now we know why. He hates us.

And on to ignore you go

Read the ****ing room
For the neutral it would have been as he described.

Not sure what else he posted that could have been deemed upsetting?

If that assessment triggers you, I suspect it's your problem.

This was their reserves. Their first team would have massacred us. You cannot defend tonight’s performance.

What on earth are we going to put out v city.

Best hope sa kilman and Dawson have worldies

And cunha finds something like man united

We are so ****ing poor and downtrodden now we look like a team low on confidence a game we need to pick up and we look ****e and capitulate

A drumming against city will only make it worse with likely then a roll over v villa

"Ipswich Town's 21 points after eight Championship games is the joint-best start by a promoted side in any division in English Football League history"

Confidence is important in football and we've just played a team on the crest of a wave whilst we're in a slump.

Yes, it's not the result we hoped for but we've given squad members valuable game time tonight and I'm sure we'll re-group for the weekend and give it a good go.

I think you'll find the common denominator is Matt Hobbs. Whilst many fans think he is a genius; he is the man that wanted Beale and appointed GON.
Oh . Who employed Hobbs then ?
