60's Superstar Derek "The Doog" Doogan is arranging a Sportsman’s Dinner for former Wolves player Ian Cartwright’s cancer fund. It’s on Thursday February 8th 2007 at 19:30 at the Connaught Hotel Wolverhampton. Tickets are £50 each The Doog will of course be there with many of his friends including Terry Conroy MC at Stoke and a comedian. Now known also to be attending - Wolves Legends: Lofty (Phil Parkes) Derek Parkin Terry Wharton Frank Munro Of course Ian is the guest of honour, but Derek has a fantastic star speaker – the World Cup winning England goalkeeper who made the best save – ever – see it at http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Field/3163/save.html
- yes it’s the great GORDON BANKS OBE. You can’t miss this event. The Doog will also be auctioning one of his Northern Ireland Caps and there will be England and George Best memorabilia too. Still suffering at the moment, I'll see what the next few weeks brings.

Nice pint of Banks's (Gordon Banks) is just what yuou need then.

Can't remember what the Connaught serves.
