Thank you for changing our club. The last 4 years have been the best in the last 40 and many younger fans maybe can’t appreciate that we’ve been spoilt. Our forty year average is championship 8th probably.

So thanks, you’ve raised the bar and we now have a chance it cementing a prem place. However, as any business it needs running in the right way to succeed and quite clearly Wolverhampton Wanderers isn’t being ran as you and we deserve.

Management - the manager was backed to change the system and spirit and heart of the club. Then sacked quickly. Why back him if not behind it?, change in the summer would have been more sensible rather than letting Lage rip everything up

Recruitment - most fans are happy with mendes and using this. However lt is one option, we cannot rely on it solely and frankly the recruitment of late has been appalling. Relying on Raul was ridiculous given the signs, buying wide forwards crazy and not priority. A new DOF requires to reset and work with,Mendes but not only. Top championship talent is Frankly ignored, why it’s value for money.

Sales - Adama to Barcelona was a disgrace, honestly selling MGW for same money as Guedes ?, May as well have kept someone who has wolves in his blood. Coady Saiss ruddy all sold in one summer ripping the heart and spirit out. Again sanctioned by the CEO

Strategy - the management saga presently also demonstrates a club with no strategy, no blue print just a throw abs hope strategy. Again we deserve better than this, what di we stand for, which managers fit that and have them ready (Brighton a classic example of what you and we should expect when replacing a manager). This is the role of DOF and not the CEO.

Team spirit - CEO and DOF sanctioned selling of ruddy, Coady, Saiss the heartbeat. And through poor planning and contract management, we now have too many players with one eye on leaving in the summer (neves, Adama, Matteus potentially, moutinho). Not saying they won’t fighting, but rip the heart of the team spirit out, leave too many looking to the exit and what do you expect. Again really poor strategy and we deserve more.

Therefore fosun I’m afraid the answer is clear. The fans and you as owners deserve better than this. You and we deserve and expect recruitment, management, team spirit, strategy, mid and long term planing to be exceptional. It’s clearly not and therefore I think a new CEO is clearly the answer and to bring in new management team and direction for the club. This will take some more investment, but without it the cost of relegation will be more. Fans be behind the club no matter what, but we both deserve more, much more and I am sure this isn’t lost on you. I hope not anyway.

When Laurie went in my heart I knew behind the scenes were not great at the club but chose to focus on the good stuff then when Thelwell went I did the same but my gut feeling was right. The club is run by fools with ulterior motives which are at odds with what true fans want. It’s all coming to fruition now. Beyond ****ed off with it. We did do well to stay in the Prem now it’s all being ****ed up the wall.

Dear Floydstreet

Thank you for your comments.

Unfortunately, at this moment in time, we couldn't give a flying **** what supporters think.

We hope you enjoy the rest of the season.

Dear Floydstreet,

We thank you for your observations. At this time we are looking for new supporters as those who have been spoilt by the relative success of recent years are no longer listening to our messages of optimism.

We hope to replace the legacy fans in 2023 as there are no outstanding candidates to fill the 38000 seat stadium we intend build in the near future (well, next 15 years). It would have been built already, but we couldn’t source an outstanding architect, nor outstanding builders.
Kindly trust us and remember this is a 10 year plan.

Kind regards,

Jeff Shi t

Whatever the rights and wrong of Laurie leaving, I certainly felt shocked at the time cos of what it meant for the clubs equilibrium. Been ****ed up ever since. Plain as day for years. Sad.

Dear Floydstreet,

Please note that we are no longer accepting comments from legacy fans.

However, as a gesture of goodwill, we are willing to allow you to continue to purchase a season ticket. As the new season will feature 23 home games, we feel it only fair that the price reflects this increase. £1500 will be therefore taken from your account to secure your seat to an exciting new start for the Wolves pack under the outstanding Rob Edwards.

Regards
Jeff Shi

Add "When Nuno went" to that list.

Becoming more obvious by the day that our success was down to Nuno and his team. In a sense, Nuno succeeded despite the owners, not because of them. Did occur to me that Nuno looking so burnt out may have been down to having to continually battle with the dubious incompetents above him, as much as Covid or anything else.

At what point are the people apologising and making excuses for these asshats ruining are club going to wake up?

If they are defending them after today, they aren’t real wolves fans and are paid plants by the club!!!

Dear Floystreet,

Your email has been deleted to prevent the negativity affecting the staff and players. It's all your fault, perhaps think twice before daring criticising me as I'm infallible and if not, I have an excuse.

I managed to blag a seat at the end of season dinner before Laurie left and ended up drinking with him, Jacqui oatley and jonny Phillips for a while at the end of the evening with some others from our table. He couldn’t have been more effusive about the club. He was gone two months later. Never really made sense to me.

Root and branch reform is needed throughout the club. The buck stops with Shi and he needs to be held to account for the organisational structure he’s created where most/all of the footballing decisions are seemingly taken by him (often badly) rather than delegated to empowered and experienced staff on the footballing side. A wave of good people have now got fed up with the structure at the club and left - staff (Nuno, Thelwell, Dalrymple, Skirrow, Perry) and also players - and it seems potential managers are fully aware of all this and avoiding us with a barge pole too.

I know, I know this isn’t necessarily FOSUN way or model but they’re staring down the barrel of a ~150m hit on their investment if we get relegated so I assume if they don’t act now they never will. No idea if Shi and FOSUN come as an inseparable package or not though.

The only glimmer of hope currently is that we have three league games over the next few months so we effectively have time to make some big changes. Replacing Shi and bringing in someone who delegates at least some decisions would be a start. Throwing money and a transfer kitty at a tried and tested DoF and manager package would also be wise (e.g. Monchi and Lopetegui - not that they’d come now), reducing (not eliminating) reliance on Mendes going forward and shipping out players in Jan who don’t want to be here and aren’t up for the fight. Like Newcastle last year, it needs something radical otherwise we’re as good as down.

We’ve had some great times under FOSUN and I don’t mean the above to sound ungrateful. Their model isn’t fundamentally broken or unworkable but it’s been implemented very badly by Shi over the last few years. Only two years ago we were within sniffing distance of the Champions League spots going into the last few games of the season and some really poor decisions (as well as some bad luck with injuries) have got us to here

Yes very true. I don’t suppose we will ever know the facts of what went on behind the scenes. I doubt very much Nuno would have wanted a kid in exchange for Jota and we know he wanted funds after going out the Europa but got Cutrone? It looks more and more that it was Nuno and his team plus his man management that got us to where we were.

No me neither. It’s just speculation but I would guess his vision for the club going forward was at odds with Fosun’s. Didn’t Jeff take on his role at the club?

Jeff took on everyone’s role
That’s the issue
Arrogance over incompetence

Good leadership is spotting where you need specialised help, not thinking you can do it all.
He clearly can’t

Would take fosun with Dalrymple and Thelwell anyway, but the ship has sailed

But we need a new plan, strategy, leadership and quick. You can’t have businessmen making all football decisions. Yes they can control the purse strings, but they need to take top advice. To counter sell Coady, loan Adama etc etc

You mean:

Dear Floydstreet

Are you a legacy fan?

I only care about fans who shop at the new mega store in Shanghai.

Jeff
I’m just a fan

And I am quite certain that Fosun don’t want any of this. Purely on a financial basis this doesn’t work for them. They can’t accept it and if they have desire for investment or to sell, well then even more reason to change things and invest.
Big decisions for them
