Fantastic result and a brilliant response to the result / performance on Thursday. Really enjoyed watching that, apart from a nervy 10 mins or so towards the end.

The changes made to the team were the correct ones, with Gomes bringing energy to the middle against a mobile midfield, RAN allowing an outball to the left and posing an attacking threat and Sarabia connecting better with Cunha & Neto in the front 3. I think there is better balance across the team with the 11 we picked today, but the likes of Doyle / Bellegarde etc will get their chance again I'm sure.

So pleased for Cunha, who really is a special player. He starting to get the goals he's play deserves, but the amount of times he attracts 2 or 3 players around him and still retains the ball with ease is so brilliant to watch. He can take us 20 / 30 yards up the pitch so effortlessly at times.

Talking of special - take a bow Neto. Just the 2 assists today, with the 2nd in particular showing his maturity in terms of picking a man in a better position to finish rather than going for the spectacular. He genuinely has the potential to be one of, if not the, best players in the league.

I'm also pleased for GON and think he really is maturing as a manager on the job. 6 months or so ago, we played Liverpool at home and he called it out as a free hit. Now, I think he fully gets the potential of this squad and is going into every game with the intention of winning. He's shrugged off that "avoid defeat first" mentality and the players are clearly more than happy playing for a manager, which is probably due to the fact they know he believes in them.

Our team beat the '11 players on the pitch at any one time' shower.

We outplayed them, outthought and outfought them.

Salma Hayek look out, this could be your lucky night... (if only!).
We have something in common! :D

Probably our best performance of the last 3/4 years
Totally in control ,calm and confident
Ok we got a bit carried away last 15 minutes but the game was done by then and it could have been more
We will lose games for sure, but its like night and day now with what we were churning out prior to this season

Exhilarating performance overall, although plenty of moments when it appeared Chelsea were going to come back into the game.

Wolves looked from the outset to push high up against Chelsea's very hesitant defence, and generated immediate chances that we really failed to take advantage of. An excellent move then led to Cole Palmer scoring and it looked as if there was after all going to be a hangover from Thursday's bitter defeat.

But, hugely to their credit, the team just moved up a gear and simply trampled all over Chelsea.

There was a power and muscularity about Wolves' performance that really made an impression. The attacking 3 constantly rotated position and bewildered the opposition, who really looked like they wanted to be somewhere else.

Chances were missed fairly regularly but eventually Neto and Cunha got it just right for the vital third, and the game was effectively won.

Defensively, we were a bit hit and miss, with a disturbing tendency for players to lose their man around the area, but it was one of those days where it really didnt matter.

Players:

Sa: looked a bit jittery today, but some good collects on the way...6

Semedo: Another titanic performance from a possible POTS, excellent in all spheres.....9

Ait Nouri: Very uneven but some great moments, and a great run for the goal......7

Toti: Going through a bit of an erratic spell, but never hides. Some important last ditch tackles......6

Dawson: Remains the most important defensive player, and organises the back line. Superb pass for 2nd goal...........7

Kilman: Again a bit uneven, but always looking to unleash the attack, now a feature of his game..........7

Gomes: Assertive performance, strong and energetic, great drive. Opponents are intimidated by him.......8

Lermina: Closer to his earlier standards, and part of the key dominance of the middle.............7

Sarabia: Now a major player for Oneil's team, looking to play dangerous passes in the opponent's half. Gives the team much more control...........7

Neto: Seems can destroy any defender when he wants to, but still quite wasteful with good positions. If he becomes more efficient with is final pass or shot, then one of the top players in the league.................8

Cunha: Superb in all respects. Despite his efforts of the last two games, still a constant presence in the game. Glides past
opponents, and now much, much better in the penalty area. Astonishing..........10

Subs all did fine in finishing the game off, although Bellegarde really should have scored.

A mention of Oneil's tactics. Targetted the brattish Chilwell to great effect, who had to be dragged off to save him. Also picked out Thiago as another weak link due to his declining speed. The players knew exactly where to attack.

They have some individually great players and that's the problem they aren't a team and that's why they got punished by a team
I agree with this and GON has galvanized us as a team . I just hope he gets backed in the summer as if he keeps this up then teams like West Ham will be sniffing about in the summer .

Night and day compared with the first half against Man Utd.
Keep saying it but when our first team are on it we are a match for anyone in this league.

When was the last time we scored 7 goals in two games, things are going to get much better with this team and a few additions over the summer.

14 goals in our past 5 league games and one of those was 0-0 and we lost one 3-4

Big improvements. Oneil done good job had to be said.

Chelsea fans will probably want him after that display today

Semedo, Titanic? Are you sure? I feel certain he remained afloat most of the match.

Just got back.

Was a bit concerned how Thursday was going to affect us. Great mentality and team spirit.

The forward play was scintillating at times. Joy to watch.

Cunha, Neto, Gomes and Semedo were superb and the rest very good. Great celebrations at the end with the away fans.

Massive game on Saturday. Got to be up for it. Win that and we're flying up the table.

Thanks Wolves for a great day out.

It hasn't been this easy to stay up and watch our matches in the middle of the night in many a season - thankyou Hobbs, Gary and the players for helping me fall in love with Wolves again.

Neto looked like a brand spanking new ferrari in the red kit last night - zoom, zoom, zooooooom!

Simply superb - faces & behaviour at end says it all - a REALLY ‘together’ squad. Yes - Cunha & Neto will get headlines (rightly) but MUST NOT forget the superb contributions of Toti, Semedo, Lemina & Gomes. And Sarabia - like Thursday - looked so much more ‘at it’. He has learned.

2 concerns - too much space around 2CHs, and lack of pace of Dawson (despite excellent clearing of lines) a worry;
Second - how on earth wee we not at least 5 up? Neto went right onto weaker foot into trouble when 8 yards out instead of left & simple tap in; and why did Belllegarde not square to Doyle for 3 yard tap in when 4-1?? Such wrong decisions will cost us in closer games.

Got a touch sloppy in last 15 - crowd ‘Ole’ probably does not help!

But great performance all round!
Young lads still learning
Wait till they get it right, someone will get a right old tonking

Mad that Chelsea have spend about a billion quid and still have Gallagher starting in midfield. What an absolutely dreadful footballer.
Honest answer, I think he's been absolutely ruined by management and those around him. At Palace and the **** he was a quality player, he's just been dragged through with that team. Got a lot of time for him tbf, good bloke by all accounts, but he will move in the summer as he and Broja are the only two players they can really sell for FFP. Wouldn't be surprised if he turned up elsewhere and ran riot.

Cant comment on the performance as i haven't had chance to see the game, but that's a very, very good result.

Lopetugui and most on here were way too down on the team. We were always a perfectly decent mid-table side who had been horrifically managed by Lage/Sellars, and where our squad needed the hefty rebalance of the last 12 months.

Lop's an absolute tool for leaving us like he did, regardless of what Fosun or Shi may have lied about.
Even under lage I was saying the same thing, we have always had at least a mid table Premier league side.

Mauricio Pochettino is in serious danger of being sacked after Chelsea were beaten 4-1 by Wolves in the Premier League on Sunday. (Team Talk)

They could at least get the chuffing score right!
