Does the ticket price include full body armour for the journey into/out of the ground?

4200 allocation and it's on a Sunday. Makes sense really. Nice on WMP you allow it to be a sunday game but allow for a huge allocation. Muppets.

Seeing the number of tickets available I may drive up to the game. What's street parking like near(ish) to the ground? I'll be coming up the A38 from Selly Oak and would like to park so that I can make a quick get away south? Thanks.

How far is stadium from New Street? Worth getting taxi?

I have driven, been on the coach and been on the train to St Andrews, and really cant say which is the best.

Driving is ok as you can blend in but then when you come out the pen at the end they watch for who's heading out of there on their own back to cars and pick of small groups.

Coach is alright but then when we went in the car we were following the coaches and they got the windows put through.

Train is ok as your fine walking there and then there is usually a few walking back to New street but it always kicks off as you walk out the pen.

So safest is probably coach, followed by train the car IMO

Would they attack an old man with glasses?!!!!!!!

Some of their support would attack a blind man with glasses. I know every club has their share but I really do think it's a disproportionate number of Blues fans.

Seriously, I've been to most away days with Wolves. Nothing compares to Birmingham, I'd always promised myself that I wouldn't go back but it's such an important game I don't want to miss it.

Been to many grounds but not to Blues. Is there a reason for this historical aggro - we're not even their traditional local rivals?

Guranteed every time we go to St Andrews for it to kick off big style.

We are no angels at all and take a very large hooligan following so best to get away as quick as possible at the end and just blend in with the home crowd walking away from the ground.

I remember the year when Craddock scored with five minutes to go and everyone surged forwards celebrating. When I finally found out that I went from row 20 all the way to the front I had an arm around me from one our boys asking me if I was coming outside to give it large!!

Just because I have a shaved head doesn't mean I'm a hooligan I told this chap so at the end of the game I watched them all steam out of the pen and to see all hell break loose with punches being thrown and even the burger van being tipped upside down.

My advise is not to wear colours and keep yourself to yourself.

It is a very dodgy place to go, i've had trouble there before and after and even when just me and the mrs went and were walking to the ground. My advice would be train or park near new st, drink on bennets hill before game brior rose, then taxi it in and get the police escort back to station. Another place to park is about 100 yards down the hill from the away end on the right next to the burger van just about where the police line end. Takes a while to get out though if leaving at full time.

I went there once but never again. It was years ago - the 2-2 draw in which Geoff Thomas scored.

Leaving the ground I got chased by a mob just for walking the opposite direction to the home fans (as I'd come out of the away end). I had no colours on and was keeping myself to myself, just walking back to my car. Another man and his two young daughters were also targeted, they were both under 10. We were chased down a street and I got hit on the back of my head with a huge brick and then got engulfed by fists and boots, they also punched, beat and kicked the other bloke onto the ground as his terrified daughters watched. Thankfully a police van came from nowhere, opened it's doors and pulled the 3 of us inside for our safety and drove off, taking us to hospital. I've never been so pleased to see some coppers. Like I said, never again.

Never been to St Andrews before so hoping to get a ticket to this one.

Just had a look on google maps and is the away end exit in the south west corner?

they are vermin thats the reason.

Ain't that the truth! As others have said, we have our dodgy elements, but them lot are at another level. No intent to return there, as good a price as the tickets are this year - about £12 less than we paid in the Championship as I recall??

That's what I don't understand. Hulson et al. (wolves coppers for those of you who don't know) know this and yet they still allow 4200 allocation. Additionally, there is fairly low prices and many people buy child tickets so that's even cheaper.

The Wolves lot will all probably get an escort anyway so the actual fans who aren't going for a scrap will be the ones getting targeted...

Me and Denmead were sat with them at the front that day. I know one of our lot and he had been at my wedding a couple of weeks before so they came and sat by us for most the game.

They left just after Craddock scored and asked if we were coming aswell

"Nah your alright lads carry on"

Walked out 5 mins after and there they were by the burger van with just one copper and dog stood between about 100 from either side.

We were trying to keep our heads down as we had managed to get on the Blues side of the police line some how. Praying one of our lot didn't recognise me and say alright :D

With a 4200 allocation these tickets will definitely make it to general sale, so everyone who wants to go can. Having been to watch Wolves all over the country for 40 years if there's no trouble after this game I will be amazed. Me on minibus from Burton 8 of us, before the game no problems dropped off by away end. After the game going back to minibus I'll leave the rest to your thoughts.................

Tickets are on sale now to STH's.

If we can't sell out 4200 then :(.

It's local and it's relatively cheap. I suppose it depends on the Fulham result to many though. If we win we might come close to selling out, if we lose we'd do well to take 2500.

I agree this is my worry about Sunderland as well. Think people will wait until after this game before they buy.

The other thing which no one has mentioned is Stoke tickets have been on general sale for over a week and we haven't sold out 2900. I know it's a night game but even so.

I think we've sold just under 2,500 for Stoke. The site auto generated numbers 2341,2342,2343 for me when I ordered mine last Weds.

We took 3,500 to Blues last season and it was on Sky. I'd expect us to sell the same again.

When I bought my ticket yesterday it was numbered between 1900-2000... (not gonna say it exactly). Does that mean we've sold that many?
