We didn’t play well defensively. Arsenal didn’t have their shooting boots. Arsenal having 27 attempts is NOT defending well.

There is no defending that. We stopped playing after we scored, annoyingly we looked like we had a goal in us when we went forward in the first half.

When you offer absolutely nothing going forward then it means the other manager can just throw attacking players on without fear of conceding.

We haven't played well defensively really though have we. Not that we gave up loads of chances but they got in plenty of times. Only so much you're going to get away with last ditch tackles

I think that, as usual, the intent was there. The quality just wasn't. In our own half, we kept making wrong decisions, passing to a player under pressure. Or doing a long ball out that was just aimless. Time after time.

I think that's a cheap excuse. The tempo of the game might've favored them, but the ref did not make us sit back with 11 men behind the ball. We were dreadful and they had 27 shots.

We weren't even that bad. Arsenal are serious top 4 or 5 contenders, it wasn't like we were playing Norwich or Burnley. It's not all about us. Sometimes our opponents do have better players than us.

Ball never stuck with Raul second half and Moutinho & Neves we're knackered chasing for 45 mins

They were the better team, not massively so but you can't keep giving the ball away that much and then playing scared when you have it. Midfield ovetmatched for large parts of game

Got what we deserved. Poor tactics which we have got away with before, notably in our last game but eventually it catches up with you. Once you instil in the players that they are just going to defend for 75 minutes they start feeling out place when in the opposition half and the pressure keeps mounting. By trying not to push things,we just kept playing ourselves into trouble. I hate seeing Podence and Hwang wandering backwards into our half when the opposition centrehalves have the ball not least because they are so, so bright when they get in around the opposition penalty box. Podence regularly turned his back on the man with the ball to do it too. Its just a waste of our talent, terrible to have to watch and just unnecessary, given what we have. On well...
