Andy Delort (Not dead or linked again)

Just been reminded of the time we comically publicly announced that we were hoping to sign French Tours striker Andy Delort, hours after he’d been paraded on the pitch at Wigan having just signed for them.

Summer 2014 that was. Another reminder of the days we have since left behind.

Can anyone remember any other horror transfer links from that time?

Delort? He went on to notch 0 goals in 11 games for Wigan, and has had five clubs since.

Whatever happened to Agard? Very useful for Rotherham in that 2013/14 season, scored in the match at the New York stadium and got a hat-trick in the game at Molineux, but then decided to join Bristol City again in League 1 instead of making the step up to the Chump. I remember Pringle being pretty useful for Rotherham in the 6-4 match as well.

Ben Pringle spent the first half of this season out on loan at Grimsby and just joined Tranmere on loan for the rest of it.
