Great news surely? England get a top manager, Albion lose one.

Good choice but what about all the Liverpool players in the squad that failed to show any professionalism while he was in charge of Liverpool.

Good news that he is leaving but bad news that they will be in the hunt for a manager !

WBA will be able to attract a better calibre of manager than us.

Even though Albion are a smaller, less significant club than us they are a more attractive proposition for potential managers.

Twemendous news. Think he'd be an excellent England Manager. And if his departure just so happens to adversely impact our dear neighbours then all the better.

Whoever Albion appointed would find Woy a tough act to follow.

Good for him and England, maybe bad for Wolves as his replacement may well be a Wolves target

There are more than enough managers in the entire world for us not to be anything other than delighted to see the Albion lose hodgson.

Just a thought. If Hodgson is appointed, is there a chance that Keith Downing could follow him as part of the England coaching set-up?

He could always omit them from his squads, which would be something I'd love to see! Ultimate payback.

McLeish should be a free agent soon; he has done a great job at the other two Birmingham clubs. Just the man!

Still think it'll be Redknapp, they're just giving themselves options and will talk to Harry once the race for 4th is done.

If it was Roy though, be interesting to see what they do if Di Matteo doesn't stay at Chelsea, would they consider having him back?

Would much prefer him to Rednkapp as England manager.

Hughton would be nailed on to go to Albion.

Gerrard = nearing the end of his international career anyway
Johnson = Kyle Walker & Micah Richards are just as good anyway
Joe Cole = disappeared off the radar

who else was there?
