12 seconds between goals, is this a record?

There was 12 seconds play between our first two goals last night is this a record? I am sure if LiVARpool had done it it would have been all over the media…

so have two goals ever been scored faster in top flight footbaal by one team?

It’s an excellent question.

I think that a team has scored at the other end more quickly. I’m not sure if the same team has done it though.

I think it was 49 seconds of play covering the first three goals in the game, that has to be up there as a potential record

Only similar facts I can find are of sides scoring twice in under a minute, but it doesn't specify how long the ball was in play and obviously, they didn't have VAR checking everything between goals and kick off
