Looking at the disallowed goal it got me thinking..Adebayour was played onside by Foley who was 15 yards away from the incident and not involved in the play.Assou Ekotto was further advanced than Foley and although also not involved in the play so why should one player count and not the...
What do people think of this ridiculous rule! And how should it be changed?
Twice this season ( Arsenal and Newcastle ) players have scored after gaining an advantage from being 5 metres ahead of the defenders. I think when it is as clear cut as that and the player immediately runs towards the...
Was the disallowed goal offside? Looked like one of their defenders may have been on the goal line.
Also when Jarvis was in an offside position and their defender headed backwards...was the offside call correct..I'm not too sure of the rule
whilst watching the cov pompy game, (god it has been terrible, think pompy where playing better under hart) the equaliser was an own goal. yet i think it should of not stood as a pompy player was in an offside position when the cov player who he was behind put it in his own goal, trying to stop...

Just watching some rubbish world cup preview on channel 5.
To cut a long story very short, CCCP were in a play-off to reach the world cup vs chile in 1973. CCCP refused to play as a protest vs general pinochet (good men!)
Chile kicked off and walked the ball down the other end and scored...
Just watching 'Boro v Fulham a thought came to mind....when is defender not interfering with play?
I have always thought the offside law has been pants....I'm of the 'if he's not interfering with play what's he doing on the pitch' mentality, but the current rules are even more stupid...we all...
don't if any of you have seen this in play yet
